Dr. Prabhakar Gulgunje completed his Ph.D. at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2010. He obtained the post-doctoral experience in Dr. Satish Kumar's research group in MSE between 2010 and 2011. He has continued the research in the area of carbon and multifunctional materials in this group since then. Before joining the Ph. D. program at UT Knoxville, he worked in the acrylic fiber industry in India for three years where he was responsible for providing customer technical services.
